“I hope nobody becomes a bully. Today I learned to not bully people, and to show people how to be a friend.” - Grade 3 Student

“I just wanted to thank you for coming to my school today and sharing your point of view on bullying... you coming to our school will make a difference now and in the years to come!” - High School Student

Since 2005, The Argos Foundation has made an impact on young people’s lives.  Whether it be reaching out to a victim of bullying, inspiring an incarcerated youth to make a positive life change, or providing critical funding to an organization empowering marginalized youth to become leaders in their schools and communities, The Argos Foundation has been in the forefront of youth violence prevention.

The 2008/2009 school year saw over 30,000 students empowered with bullying prevention strategies through the Huddle Up Bullying Prevention Program, and educated on the long lasting effects bullying leaves behind.  Over 50 schools across the Greater Toronto Area adopted the “Support, Report, Defend” motto, their students vowing to protect each other from harm; physically, emotionally and verbally.

Additionally, through the Level the Playing Field Program, four Toronto area high schools, and specifically, 160 of their students were united through football, learning first hand that their actions off the field are just as important as their actions on it.

The Argos Foundation is a registered charity, its charitable business number is: 81553 9549 RR0001.
